Our Mission & Vision

The mission statement of Abundant Life Fellowship is “to equip people to live the abundant life God desires for them.”  We believe that by equipping people for life, we will be giving them the tools to live the kind of life God wants them to have…  a life without constant turmoil and stress…  a life filled with peace, not only the peace that comes from experiencing God in your spiritual life, but the peace that comes from knowing how to live your life, make good decisions, develop healthy relationships and attitudes that cause that good life to come to pass.

That’s why at Abundant Life we provide worship services on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights that help you to understand the spiritual principles that affect each of us in every part of our lives.  We want to help you not only understand God, but how walking through life by the plans He laid out for us can impact our relationships, our jobs, our finances, and our health.

If you feel that you need some tools in your life to become stronger in any area, spiritually, physically, or emotionally, we exist to help you!  Come visit us and “get equipped!”

Our Ministry Team

Pastor Jay & Donna Jones, Lead Pastors

As the primary teaching pastor, Pastor Jay has a passion for equipping people with the truths of Scripture so that they can see how to apply it in their own lives.  He is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and also Northeastern State University in Tahlequah.

Donna and Jay have been working together in ministry since 1983.  They founded Abundant Life Fellowship in May of 2005 and have been working to fulfill the mission of equipping people to live the life God desires for them both now and through eternity since then.

Donna leads a team who minister to the Children of our church.  She believes that teaching children the Word of God from an early age prepares them to not only receive Jesus as the Lord of their lives but follow His direction and experience the best life possible as they grow.  She believes this prepares them , as Jesus did, to grow in wisdom, stature, and the favor of the Lord.  Donna also leads Women of the Word and the ALF Women’s Prison Ministrteam.  She serves as the volunteer coordinator at the Hands of Grace Ministry Center and Zoe Institute, where she coordinates the Benevolence Ministry.

Pastor Ed & Ashley Blanchard, Associate Pastors
Ed & Ashley came to Tahlequah after working to train interns in ministry for many years at Victory Church in Tulsa.  They are both graduates of Victory Bible College
They both have a hunger to see disciples made and placed in their individual and unique callings.  Their background and personal vision make them a perfect fit to lead in many areas of ministry and outreach at Abundant Life.
In addition to his ministry at Abundant Life, Ed works as a Case Manager at the Tahlequah Day Center, where he works together with displaced persons and attempts to connect them with the organizations within Tahlequah or Northeast Oklahoma which can meet their exact need.
Ashley not only works alongside Ed at Abundant Life fulfilling their joint duties as Associate Pastors, but works at home to raise their three beautiful children.
We are so blessed to count them as a part of our “beloved” team.

Jae Armstrong, Zach Armstrong &  Schuylir Armstrong ,  Student Ministry Pastors

As the student pastors at Abundant Life, these three family members  head up United Youth on Wednesday nights, where they teach 6th grade thru 12th grade students how to live a life that is “on fire” for the Lord.

The Armstrongs  have a passion to equip this rising generation of youth to use their unique passions to transform society and fulfill their life’s purpose.  They enjoy building relationships with the youth and discipling them to become fully devoted followers of Christ.
Zach and Schuylir have been married for two years.  Zach plays drums and bass on AL’s worship team and Schuylir can often be found on the media desk in the sanctuary.  In addition to youth ministry, Jae helps lead the worship team at Abundant Life during the Sunday morning service.
